Hi, My name is Kelwyn Suite, a former school teacher. I am very fond of the eBay website, and internet marketing in general.
A few years ago, I became involved in eBay after repeatedly deleting invitations from my inbox. Eventually, I decided that I should investigate ‘this eBay thing’.
I have had no regrets. I am not claiming to have made tons of money, but I did manage to make some.
I have no intentions of presenting myself to you as an eBay guru or professional. On the contrary, I am proud to inform you that most of my experiences on eBay were developed through visiting garage sales on my moped (with my pet parakeet), to buy and resell items.
At first, these items included mostly books. Then I began adding, DVD’s, Collectibles, Clothes, and just about anything I could locate at these garage sales.
Eventually, I began selling some ebooks on eBay, and the response was very encouraging indeed.
Very importantly, I was able to gradually learn more and more about the eBay system. As a result of this, I’m now in a position to better plan my next approach to selling on eBay.
I have had friends from New York, Connecticut, North Carolina, Texas, Toronto, and other places, asking me questions about what really happens on eBay. From time to time, I have also sold items for them on consignment on eBay. They all seemed to think that it was very difficult or intimidating.
I realized that I thoroughly enjoyed explaining to them, all that I had learnt and understood about the eBay processes. As a result, the idea of building a blog to further centralize these ideas and explanations, came naturally to my mind.
Due to personal circumstances, I had stopped being active on eBay for a while, and I have recently decided to continue. There will be a difference this time, though. What do I mean? I mean that in addition to the physical products that I will continue selling (at least for a while), I will be shifting my focus to selling digital products through eBay.
There is a major difference between selling digital products on eBay now, and doing so in the past. At present, sellers are not allowed to sell digital product on eBay via the normal auction formats. It can be done, however, through the classified ads system. (More on that later).
The major focus of this blog is to pass on as much information about eBay to you, as I possibly can. It is an honor and pleasure from my end, and it is my hope that you would find it of benefit too.
